Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that specializes in analytics, technology, and engineering. They are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to help government agencies understand and mitigate cyber threats. The role involves assessing cyber risks, developing mitigation plans, and guiding clients through security concepts.
Responsibilities:
• Assist our clients with discovering their cyber risks, understanding applicable policies, and developing a mitigation plan
• Gather technical, environmental, and personnel details from SMEs to help with the assessment of the entire threat landscape
• Guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones
• Help translate security concepts so they can make the best decisions to secure their critical infrastructure
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years of experience with security control assessments
• 5+ years of experience in a lead role
• Experience managing project schedules and developing required deliverables using established client templates
• Experience conducting cloud-based FedRAMP assessments
• Knowledge of the NIST SP 800 series and testing NIST 800-53 security controls
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• CISSP Certification
• AWS or MS Azure Certification
• CASP+, GCED, GCIH, GSLC, CISA, CISM, CFR, CCISO, or CCSP Certification
Preferred:
• Experience developing and implementing risk management strategies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined and dynamic team
• Ability to present IT security risk to executive management
