**UI Lead Engineer with React (Remote)** We are seeking a highly qualified UI Lead Engineer - React (Remote) with 10+ years of experience in React and Next JS. This hybrid work model offers the flexibility of day shifts, allowing you to contribute effectively without the need for travel. Your expertise will drive innovative solutions and enhance project outcomes. **Location: Costa Mesa, CA - Or (Remote)** **Work Authorization** Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. **Responsibilities** + Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level web applications using React and Next.js. + Utilize the Vitest framework to write, automate, and maintain unit and integration tests for React components. + Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices. + Next.js expertise. Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js. + Testing Knowledge, Solid understanding of testing practices, with Test-Driven Development (TDD) being a strong plus. + Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to empower team members and enhance their technical skills. + Contribute to the companys strategic goals by driving innovation and efficiency in software development processes. **Qualifications** + 10+ HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6, and TypeScript, Strong knowledge of front-end technologies and language features. + Component-Based Architecture. Familiarity with reusable UI components and efficient state management in large-scale applications. + Version Control. Proficient in Git, Git workflows, and CI/CD tools. + Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL Applications will be accepted until Jun 15, 2025.
